The Putsch® SIBOMAT filter, due to its total stainless steel construction, is specially designed for heavy-duty applications in sugar processing, unlike common filters. This filter has automatic cleaning and is equipped with a patented cleaning system based on high pressure sprays at 120 bars (1,740psi), which effectively removes scale. The SIBOMAT can be used in filtering tasks of up to 25µm (400 mesh).

The main components of this type of filter are the filter vessel with filter basket and built-in fine sieve, the high pressure cleaning system with high pressure pump, the control cabinet, the automatic shut-off valves and the complete piping installation.
